Leo - Summer 2006

GENERAL

Life is never easy-peezy with Saturn as a constant companion but a set-back experienced in late April could be put to rights during this second half of the year. August is the most crucial month of the summer: you may already have set important arrangements in place for this month, and they will not disappoint in terms of magnitude and lasting memories. However, you will need to put realism before romance, by which I mean situations that are simply not meant to be will fall by the wayside, and you'll certainly discover what and who is of value at this time.

LOVE

Saturn isn't much fun but he is making a woman of you! Over the next eighteen months circumstances will reveal that you can live without a man - you don't need to be in a partnership to define yourself, so if partners prove to be millstones around your neck, it could be time to vote with your feet! Not that the summer is entirely without its romantic possibilities: especially if you are twenty-nine or forty-eight years old, mid-August to early September is a premium period to meet or marry Mr Right, and you may well have cause to say that fate did indeed take a hand.

WORK AND FINANCE

Two eclipses in September fall on your chart axis of finances, so this is the month to expect the most activity in your bank account, and, perhaps the most pressure on you and your finances to perform. Aim for compromise in any negotiations related to the end of a marital or working contract - this is not the year in which to rely on the courts or institutions to be generous to you. Jupiter is well positioned at the base of your chart, making the second half of 2006 a particularly good time for adding value to your property or making investments in your professional talents. A risk here is a good thing.

HOME AND FAMILY

Cut down your expectations and you'll find happiness, and certainly serenity: disappointments are only in the mind. There are many pressures on home life this year, not least because you are the one having to get behind everyone and everything but by the end of November you'll see that those things you are most worried about will be on the mend. Some Leos may be experiencing fertility problems or difficulties getting projects off the ground - relax, please: 2007 is going to be the year when you'll blossom (every which way) so time spent in preparation will not be wasted!
