The Summer Forecast
|
|
Half-way through 2010 and how are we doing? The Summer Horoscope is now available - apologies as always to those of you in the Southern Hemisphere who are in the middle of winter: as you know astrology has a distinctly Northern bias.

| Weekly Hello! |
26th July 2010 - 1st August 2010
This has been quite some summer, and it's not over. Obviously, we're not talking about the British weather here but the kaleidoscope of aspects that has already produced some never-to-be-forgotten events. On Monday, we have the equivalent of a perfect storm: a full moon, Mercury opposed to Neptune and, last but not least, the Saturn-Uranus opposition. Not exactly a recipe for unbridled joy but when did having to change our ways ever raise a smile. If there is one key to unlocking the secret of success with these influences it rests in our being flexible, philosophical and treating our fellow man as we would ourselves. We may not be able to change other people's thinking but we can change our own.

| Month Ahead |
1st August 2010 - 31st August 2010
Are we ready for our season of Pluto? This planet was fairly low profile in July, which may have explained why some of those simmering international situations simply simmered instead of sizzled! As soon as August opens, Mars in Libra opposes Jupiter and squares Pluto, forming a T-square, followed by Venus a week later (9/10), so the astrological climate is dynamic to say the least. Mercury will turn retrograde on the 20th at the same time as the sun-Neptune opposition, and the following day Saturn squares Pluto. I'd say we were in for some travel disruptions and some international tension so book your holidays with care, and don't rattle your sabres unless you fully intend to use them. We've had quieter Augusts but in a year that has given us huge earthquakes and disastrous oil leaks, maybe it continues to be business as usual.
